Why get career coaching?

July 10th, 2012

Are you itching for a job or career change, but not sure how to go about it? Are you frustrated in your current role, but there so long you wonder if it’s too risky to make a change? Would you love to love your work?

Well the first thing you need to know is you are not alone in your situation, and more importantly there’s definitely something you can do about it.

If you are feeling stuck in a rut, or worried about making a job or career change in the current climate, it might be time to explore your career choices with a career coach. With so much time spent at work, it makes sense that if you can invest this working time doing something you love or get a kick out of, you will feel happier at work and inevitably the rest of your life will also be positively influenced.

A career coach will work with you and your unique working situation to:
1) Take stock of your own skills, experience and talents
2) Analyse your personal working style and how you can impact your own work and the behaviours of those you work with
3) Find ways to improve your enjoyment in your current role
4) Explore other career industries, roles and opportunities
5) Ensure you put your best foot forward in terms of CV and interview preparation if you decide to take the next step in your career path.
